The Keyword Academy consists of 10 videos along with the accompanying text. The Keyword research and link building videos are especially informative. But they also go into how to set up mini sites with WordPress and configuring properly.

This program has recently been selling for $600 and now you can get it for 1$. The site has been changed to a membership site. The first month is a dollar, and then a premium membership is 33$ a month after that. But you can cancel at anytime. You can watch all of the videos and information for $1 and then decide to cancel or decide to pay the monthly fee.

They have also added a forum, and they have live webinars as well, plus they are expanding their content from focusing on AdSense to Affiliate Marketing. If you have time to go through the material than this is a no brainer.

I have been researching this a lot and have moved some smaller blogs, so I think it will go smoothly. But just in case I wanted to give everyone a head’s up, in case we experience some downtime.

Another thing I’ve been wanting to talk about are comments. As most of you know I was a do follow blog. But unfortunately, someone, put me on some lists of do follow blogs with PR, and I have been inundated with spam.

If there is something good, stupid people have to mess it up. I would actually allow anchored text, especially if it was a clever, witty, or relevant comment. But instead, I was getting those idiotic comments that didn’t even apply, and were absolutely inane. You know the ones where people read one sentence or just the title, and say something that is totally opposite from what you were writing about.

So I had no choice but to remove the do follow plug in. Anyway I hope all goes well and I’ll talk to you guys soon. If not, see you in a couple of days.

I actually stumbled upon a writing business called procreation. Just to be fair when you click on their profile it is actually hyphenated like this Pro-Creation. Professionals in Creativity. They also go on to say that “their forte is creating attention grabbing copy”. They got my attention.

Needless to say these guys are in India. And they probably do great work. Although I would probably pass on having them create my attention grabbing headline or business name. Do you have any funny business name stories? Or any funny outsourcing stories? I’d love to hear them.

Last year I created my Blogging Resolutions For 2008! Surprisingly I completed many of these resolutions, even though I didn’t go back and check until now.  I guess there is something to what they say about writing down your goals.

My blogging and Internet marketing knowledge has increased substantially since last year. It will be interesting to see what this year brings. My coding knowledge has increased but there is still more I need to learn. I also have a Photoshop book and a Dreamweaver book I plan on getting through by the end of January.

But my biggest and most important goal of 2009 is that I plan on making a full time income online. I’ve blogged, I’ve read, I’ve studied, learned and experimented. Now it is time to take action and build build build until I can’t build anymore.

Since I’ve began this endeavor my biggest complaint has been lack of time. Beginning tomorrow I am taking an extended vacation/sabbatical from my full time wage slave job. I plan on putting all of my time and effort into my IM business and hopefully changing my life forever.

There you go a resolution that is simple and complex at the same time. I’ve been preparing for this move for the last few years. So wish me luck and I’ll keep you posted as things progress. Happy New Year everyone.

Update: Another year has come and gone and I’ll be doing my resolutions a little differently this year. Although I am constantly setting goals and trying to better my life this year instead of a goal or resolution for the year I will be creating a new 30 day challenge at the beginning of each month. With this approach I should end the year with 12 goals accomplished and a couple of positive habits incorporated into my life.

Many people focus on physical goals like losing weight or looking into options for hair restoration, but my goals will be more achievement oriented this year. Happy New Year to everyone and thanks for following along.

I am a recent owner of a Garmin Nuvi 255 which I absolutely love. I was lucky enough to get it free when I applied for a Discover card. But after seeing the features of the Garmin Nuvi 750 I think this would be my GPS of choice. In fact I’ll probably upgrade to this one pretty soon anyway.

So what’s so great about a GPS? Well you never have to worry about being lost again. Even driving in town you are free to zone out and not worry about missing an exit because the Garmin will remind you in time to turn. If there is an accident or a detour; no problem. The Garmin easily recalculates and has you on your way in no time.

The voice is loud and clear and you can use it while listening to the radio. Also it is very good about freeway exits. For example it will tell you to exit right but stay in the left lane which helps avoid a lot of confusion and last minute lane changes.

It is also very simple to use. Just plug it in and go it has an intuitive touch screen. And will give the address and location of stores, restaurants, gas stations, and most public attractions. Plus, it has a favorites button and a preset home button. So you will never be lost again. If you’ve never used a GPS, you don’t know what you’re missing. But once you have used one you will never want to drive without it.

Another great travel accessory is a cup holder if you have ever been on a long trip on hot day without a cup holder you know how inconvenient this can be. I used to work for a delivery company, and there was nothing worse then getting into a big old hot bouncy truck and having no where to set my cold drink.

If you are looking for a way to have some family fun and engage everybody and every part of your brain. You should really check Cranium out. You play in teams or groups so it brings everyone together. You’ll not only wake up your brain, but you will have moments of side splitting laughter.

My latest favorite version of Cranium is this one Cranium Wow Game.

Hopefully stocking the bunker won’t be necessary and things won’t become as bad as many predict. One shining note, is maybe we can put all of the talk of race to rest. I’m happy for the African Americans who are old enough to remember being discriminated against. Maybe this election will be a reminder of how far our society has become.

I live in California, and the one proposition that I actively campaigned for and donated money to was the Humane Society sponsored Proposition 2. It was a moderate proposition designed to give animals in factory farms more room, so they can stretch out their limbs and turn around.

It’s unpleasant to think about what their current living conditions are for this proposition to even be necessary. And don’t even bother watching any of the videos.

Fortunately 2 passed by a large margin. Millions of farm animals won’t be subjected to entire lives filled with torture.

I love animals and have a lot of compassion for them. But this goes beyond caring about animals. A society that has compassion and doesn’t allow abuses in the name of greed. Is a thinking and caring society. Passing these moderate measures are not only good for our defenseless animals, but it is good for our society as a whole.

I recently started a free book review section and thought I would attempt to rank for Free Book Reviews. Apparently this is a very competitive keyword and I currently rank number 502 for this term. Don’t be confused if you see Free Book Reviews where It’s Write Now used to be. It’s just an experiment with my ranking efforts.

Although, if I actually ranked well for free book reviews, I will probably have to take on some guest posters to help with all of the review requests. But for now let’s see how it goes.

Alright I probably don’t have to tell you guys this, but Griz was right. I changed my title from It’s Write Now to Free Book Reviews this morning and as of this evening (just a few hours later) my ranking went from 502 to about 150, just wait till I get some links.

I love politics and have strong feelings about the election, but this isn’t a political blog, and I’m not going to take sides and express my political views. Except for the fact that, I hate closed mindedness and political extremism. I think we should all open our hearts and minds and look at both candidates and vote for who would be best for our country, and not get hung up on hate, peer pressure, or single issues.

In spite of this, one can’t help but wonder, if this would have been a better choice for the Democratic ticket?

OK now on to the good stuff. The president isn’t actually elected by popular vote. Each state has electorates and the electorates actually vote for the candidate. That’s why candidates focus on certain key states because to win the election they need at least 270 electoral votes.

Each state is assigned a number of electorates according to their population. Whichever candidate wins the popular vote in that state, gets all of the states electoral votes. I found a great web site called The Common Craft Show, that explains it really well.
