History, Like Bank Robbing, Repeats Itself

In the 1930s, Bonnie & Clyde became the FBI’s most wanted, and folk heroes, with people who weren’t actually affected by their violence.
I thought bank robbing was a profession of the past. Then suddenly, I keep reading news of recent bank robberies. These modern day bank robberies don’t consist of machine guns, clever disguises, or dynamite. People just walk into the bank, with no disguise or weapon, and hand the teller a note, and then walk out with the money.
In the case of the Grandpa Bandit, blog commentator’s were actually cheering him on. Just like Bonnie & Clyde. The thing that gets me is, robbing a bank, is as easy as handing a note to the teller. At least the teenage Barbie Bandits knew the note idea may not work, so they gave their note to a teller who was in on it. Hey, they’re not stupid.
The latest local bank robber is the Spider Man Bandit, who walks into local banks with no disguise, and hands the teller a note asking for money. With no cumbersome disguises or getaway cars, what does he do next? Perhaps he walks to the Starbucks down the street and works on his blog. BlogRobber, with how to’s, like hand the teller a note, and affiliate links to sunglasses, notepaper, and canvas bags with dollar signs on them. ![]()
What’s my point with all of this? Well simply that history does really repeat itself. Most blogs do to. Sometimes it’s unintentional and sometimes people just copy other blog ideas. I hope to offer original content, only repeating myself with information that really is worth saying twice. Thanks for stopping by, Emma
