Today is February 29th which is known as leap day. Technically giving us an extra day this year. According to a Yahoo study 63% of Americans would use an extra day to get organized either at work, around the house, or in the garage.
My local paper had a great article titled Leap day: 29 ways to get organized in 24 hours. There are a number of web sites about organization as well. One of my favorites is Clutter Cubed.
Another site that I keep up with on a regular basis is IKEA Hacker. This is actually my favorite. IKEA products are a lot of work to assemble, so you might as well take the time to customize what you buy. With these hacks you can save a lot of money and organize anything. Plus you get that sense of accomplishment from creating something with your own hands, or at least assembling it.

I wish I would have seen the 29th as an extra “free” day but, alas, it was just another end-of-the-week-so -i-gotta-get-it-done Friday…

Yeah an extra Saturday would of been wonderful.
You know I didn’t really use the 29th to get organized. I did how ever use the 2nd to get the office at home cleaned up. I still had things laying around from the time we moved in. I’m glad that it is finally done.

IKEA Hacker is really one of the coolest sites. And yes IKEA can be habit forming.
LOl… can you keep that room just like that while you live in there?
