As most of you know, one of my favorite blogs is Bloggrrl. Michelle is an excellent writer, and well on her way to having a profitable 2008. All of her posts are very creative and her contests are as well. In fact she is someone I look up to, because when I first began blogging, I won a contest on her site.
It made me 50 dollars richer, but the most exciting thing for me at that time was the link. I was a new starry eyed blogger and I kept reading about the importance of links. Which I had none of. So one of my first links was on her site. Her site was a popular well known site, so I was thrilled. Plus I enjoy her writing style.
Michelle is having a contest where for just creating a link you could win some cornbread baked by her. Yum! Plus some black-eyed peas which you could use to make a southern dish called Hoppin’ John. In fact reading this recipe makes me half tempted to try it. But my time is limited. I’m a blogger.
This contest ends on Jan 15, so if your interested in entering you better get on it. Michelle also gives the winner the option of 25$ instead of the black eyed peas(not the band), and the cornbread. If I won I would be tempted to opt for the cornbread just because it sounds good and I bet Michelle is a good cook. But for simplicity sake, I would probably go for the money. How about you?
