Since we're in the Christmas mode, we all remember "The Land of Misfit Toys", well, that's my "outdated technology" closet in my house. It's full of every Palm pilot/PDA (Casio's, Jornadas) you can think of, PCMCIA cards from now defunct laptops, oh, forgot to mention the 7 dead and dying laptops sitting stacked neatly in the corner.. You can tell I'm software developer/musician if you even dare to peek into that closet, and FYI, the closet is as big as a South Beach apartment. The other thing I have is a box full of old cellphones -- Nokia, Erricson, Motorola, Nextel, all littering my storage space. Cingular (my former provider) had a big donation drive for used cellphones a few years back, but I bailed Cingular for T-Mobile so I did't want to give them my goods for their "good cause". I wonder if I could make a few bucks ditching that box of phones :-)

My wife would love it. She finally convinced me to put my SGI Indigo (it was $60K when new in 1993) and my Sun Sparc stations that were littering the garage in the trash pile (what a sin, she's evil, I tell you, nah, she's cool, but when I even talk of selling her 900+ Hummel's on eBay she goes bezerk).
