In August I did a review of DevDad. Of course, I had a little incentive Mike the stay at home Dad, geek style, was giving away a digital camera.

Mike’s site has been up since July and he’s off to a great start. It’s about the journey of a young father, trying to have, a work at home developer career, while caring for his baby daughter.

What I liked most about the site was his honesty. Mike tells about the trials and triumphs of building a business. While being, and learning how to be, a great dad.

The site offers real life experience on building a work at home IT business. Interspersed, with cute little family anecdotes, and videos of his daughter.

From what I can tell Mike has a love for; staying at home, his daughter, building a viable business, and photography.

Now he has added a new site called Bloghelper.org where you can get free help with your blog. The site already has quite a bit of useful information and we can ask questions, and get the exact information we are looking for. Pretty Cool.

Mike is having another contest where he is giving away an iMac. If you would like to enter you need to link to Stay At Home Dad iMac Give-Away and Stay At Home Dad, Geek Style.

If your interested in this contest you better hurry because tomorrow’s the last day to enter. Sorry Mike I meant to post sooner.

Oops, correction the contest runs until Ocotober 31st, just like my contest and the winner will be announced by November 5th. Just like my contest as well. I guess this means there is some other contest out there I meant to enter. Oh well.

Also you may want to check out SitterCity. Mike says he has a special deal worked out with them. And to include a link in your post.

I checked out the site and it’s a service that links, baby sitters, pet sitters, and nannys, to people in need of these services. So if you need a break from those little angels or your ready to launch that dog sitting career. SitterCity is for you.

I’ve heard a great deal about DevDad and have checked out his site a few times. He definitely hosts some awesome contests. BlogHelper is also a great resource site. There can never be enough resource sites to teach unknowns, such as myself, how to be…well, not unknown.
