DreamHost is my hosting provider and I’ve never had a problem with them. I’ve had to email support a couple of times and I’ve gotten prompt help.
They have easy one click installs. The folks at DreamHost put it like this, "Fantastico, shmantastico! DreamHost now has its very own one-click software installation!"
I just upgraded to WordPress 2.2.3 in about a minute with the click of one button. I think I ended up paying around 60 dollars for hosting, and 3 domains, I have registered so far. And I have easy access to all of the best open source software.
