    Drew, I would love t’ enter your contest. I have always had a thin’ for pirates meself.

    T’ thin’ be I’m kind o’ lazy and I don’t know if I’ll have time t’ post about me day job and then convert it into pirate language.

    It’s the Spanish silver dollar that was often cut into halves, quarters and eighths. It was commonly known as “pieces of eight”.
