My New Word Monday Contest seemed to be a success. People thought it was creative, and at least I learned how to spell, use and define 5 new words.

I had 4 actual entries:

  1. Sam From Taosbound : The use of capricious portmanteau to obfuscate the details of arbitrage has become ubiquitous on the internet. Or something.
  2. MouseClone : He seemed to be ubiquitous. Opening up his portmanteau to try and get people to arbitrage his clippers on the capricious. He would obfuscate everyone with a magic trick. He would make one or two sales and move on.
  3. RottenKid(FTW) :He was in desert and a pancake was ubiquitous in his mind , after a while when he was walking with the full sun on his head is beagin to be delirious and asked him self : “If i put sand in my portmanteau and i use my penknife to cut it i can eat it and think that is a real pan cake if it’s not too tough”. A camel was watching him at she was obfuscate by his thoughts and she run to her family and start telling the story to her capricious father which he would cook fast some pancakes and sell it for the tourist. After a while the camel comes back in desert and she seen the man eating his portmanteau but the pancakes smell was to hard for the man and he can’t fight with the temptation. He asks the camel “What do you want for that pancakes?” , the camel say “I`m making an arbitrage , my father have sold me this pancakes for 1000 pieces of sand , i’ll give you for 800″…Will be continued Next Monday
  4. Rich Minx :Make Money Online blogs were ubiquitous, but despite this she capriciously clicked the link to yet another one. It turned out to be a Splog - a portmanteau which combines the unfortunate blend of spam and blog - and the information contained was obfuscated and seemed to encourage the act of arbitrage, which she wasn’t sure was ethical.

With out further ado I shall put numbers 1-4 in a Random Number Generator.

Here is the result: 4     Yay, the winner is Rich Minx. I was very impressed with her entry and I’m glad she is the winner. Hopefully I’ll be able to Pay Pal her the twenty bucks. Plus I am proud to put Rich Minx on my bloggroll. It is one of my new favorite blogs.

It’s time for me to start my new list of Monday New Words. So stay tuned for another contest in about 5 weeks. Emma

I’m glad the minx won, but I always felt that a much more poetic portmanteau for spam blogs would have been “blam”!

I didn’t participate, but I love your blog. I also absolutely love the word obfuscate and had a blog awhile back titled “Obfuscating Reality”. LOL

    Just thought I’d share :D
